Two YOUNG and talented dancers from Warrinton claimed victory in Glasgow after competing with pairs of street dancers from across the world.
Lexy Dawbarn (7 yrs) and William Davies (6 yrs) came grabbed the top spot at the UDO World Street Dance Championships in the under eight duos category in Glasgow.
The pair, who train attend Stage Pro Academy on Museum Street in Warrington, had only been dancing together for a few months ahead of the competition.
They only had from June to August to practice together and William was away on holiday for three weeks during that time, so its absolutely fantastic news that they have done so well.
Elsewhere at the competition, Stage Pro’s Dance teams Evolve, APEX and BlaYz battled it out in front of thousands of spectators at the Scottish National Exhibition and Conference Centre.
APEX managed to claim fifth place in the competition (U14 Advanced Category), while Evolve made it to the top 20 and BlaYz secured a semi-final spot.
StagePro also had several other dancers competing in the solo and duo categories at the event, with many placing and we could not be more proud of each and everyone of them.
